I downloaded the Citadel Wars demo yesterday after hearing about it from a friend a while back. I like innovative games, and when I played the destruction level of CW, I was really really impressed.
What I noticed, however, were some minor issues that, being a mechanical engineer, drove me crazy. Two main issues inittially after the first hour of testing.
The first one is the physics of the explosions, where when a player shoots destroyed rocks on the floor, they fly towards the player, which generally should not happen.
Secondly, I'd like there to be a suspension mechanic implemented. What I mean by that is, when you break off the bottom of the beam/tower, then you break off the top, the middle part of the tower remains 'floating'. I hope this is looked into, because gravity in a game with this type of innovation should be helpful (ie- for setting up traps, etc)
I understand that this is Beta and that the game is still being developed, and I would like to contribute to a game that I like.
